We were hired to create a sales video to promote GS Asphalt's new release agent for pneumatic tire rollers. The video is to be used as a sales tool to show potential clients and to be used at expos.
The shoot spanned over 3 days of shooting and about a week or two of editing.
The green screen work was done at the ING Cafe in Honolulu.
This project was shoot at 1080i using 2 HVX200's. The project was edited in Final Cut Pro, graphic elements created in Photoshop, and motion graphics created in After Effects.

Heisei College was brought as part of a two web site project. The first phase was to build and design the Bella Torre Academy website. The second phase was to redesign and rebuild the Heisei College website. The site did not pose much of a challenge but the big improvement came with the ability to regularly and easily update the website.
The main reason for there redisign was due to the fact that they had no one to update or program there currenty site. Much of there content was inaccurate or out dated.
I was able to offere them a clean and easy solution to the problem. Using Drupal and the deign work of Todd Masui we were able to rebuild there site that allows them to easily update there own site with ease.

I have never wanted a home theater more then after working on this project.
I was hired by High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC) to Produce, Shoot, and Edit 5 videos for 5 of HTDC clients. To show HTDC's appreciation towards their clients they produced and founded the entire project.
These 5 video took me to 3 of the Hawaiian Islands for Production. 3 of the clients were on Oahu, 1 on the Big Island, and 1 on Maui.
These 5 clients were:
3D Innovations
Aloha Home Cinema
Green Collar Tech
H2 Technologies
Label That Talk
Sopogy
These videos were then given to HTDC and their clients for Promotional use.
These were shot using a Panasonic DVX200, and edited on Final Cut Pro.

The H2 Technologies shoot was located on Maui and I had some difficulty with production because if you have ever been to Maui then you know that it tends to rain a lot. The shoot lasted the majority of the day collecting interviews and broll. It was particularly interesting seen a Hydrogen Powered Suzuki Samurai in use.

This was one of the first documentary type film that I did when I first started working for Hawaii Pacific Entertainment.
This was created to promote HCATT's advancement in Hydro Fuel Cell Vehicles. It was actually a very interesting shoot one thing I remember was my co-worker who left his car door wide open for the two hours + that we were gone shooting. Even though he had equipment in his car nothing was stolen.
Were we lucky.

This commercial was created for Kumu 94.7. The commercial itself was created within 6 hrs. Rush deadlines aren't much fun but they defiantly push you to see what you can do on a tight deadline.
The spot was made up of music videos provided by Kumu 94.7, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.

This video presentation was created for the launch of the Honolulu Design Center. It was displayed on there opening night.
This was shot using the DVX200, edited on Final Cut Pro and compositing using After Effects.

This is a 30sec. TV intro that I created for Tech Box on OC16 in Hawaii. I am the director, editor and producer for this local television show. I took this project from concept to completion, creating all models, animation, rigging, and editing. The show is created and produced by Hawaii Pacific Entertainment.
This intro was created using Lightwave 3D and Final Cut Pro.

This was the very first shot film that I ever made. I came up with the idea the night before, and shot it the next day. This was shot around 2002 - 2003. I edited it on Adobe Premiere Pro which took forever because of all the layered video and at the time there were no real time effects.
It was shot on a Cannon GL1, editied on Adobe Premiere Pro, and film effect created usign After Effects.

This was the second music video that I worked on. This was also shot around the same time as Divine Romance - Post War Tragedy in 2003.
The video was Directed and Edited by Jeremy Heitman. I was the DP, Assitant Director and Visual Effects Creator.
It was shot in one night using a Cannon XL1, Edited on Final Cut, and effects created in After Effects.
I really remember this project because we blew a fuzz in my house that shut down half the block trying to render it out. Got love pushing old school computers. Ha Ha

This was the first music video I ever worked on back in 2003. The project consisted of Jeremy McCian, Jeremy Heitman, and myself. My role in this video was Lighting, DP, Director, Editor, and Post Production Effects. The video was shot in one night we started at around 8 p.m. in the middle of know where and ened up finishing around 4 a.m. at this random grave yard.
We used 2 Cannon XL1, and 1 Cannon GL1. For Post Production we used Adobe Premiere Pro I believe verion 6.5, but I can't remember. We aslo used Lightwave 3D and After Effects.
I have some time recently to go back through some old footage shot on the Canon 7D about 6 months ago. This was when I first got the 7D and was testing out different settings. I will put together what I have and we will see how it goes. It looks like I will have a decent 5-7 min video I will let you know when it gets posted.

So I am in the process of developing a new site to house all the knowledge I have collected over the years working with Drupal. Essentially I wanted to have one location where I could keep and track the different things that I learn in the process of building websites. That way if I ever need a quick reference I will have one location I can go to.
The site right now strictly deals with Drupal, PHP, MySQL, and JQuery. Later on I might open it up to hold other code snippets and such. Or allow additional people to add code and additional support.
Right now it is starting as more of a personal site that I am opening to the public but later on I hope to expand on that. The goal in to give a single location that will allow for quick searching of code snippets. To help speed up web development.
I will have more later as the site gets closer to launching.

I have added a new project titled Martin & MacArthur. This is one of my most current site that I have developed. It is an online store that specializes in Koa made products.
The goal of this site was to move their current online store from basic html and move it over to Drupal. As well as automating and increasing sales. This allowed different departments to access certain areas of the site to maintain stock, products, and to also handle shipping and payment processing.
In doing this I was able to automate the majority of there online needs. Allowing them to increase the amount of online sales and limit the amount of time needed to manage their store. Within the first two weeks they met and surpassed their monthly goal. Exceeding it about 20% for that first two weeks which was above what they were expecting for that month.
Check out the screen shots under Work and also check out their site at http://www.martinandmacarthur.com

Well after a long awaited time I have final relaunched my portfolio. I took my site down for a redesign about 2 years ago and now I have finally been able to put it back up. During this time I have gone through 6 or more designs before I finally settled on this one.
When it comes to client work I have absolutely no problem work and getting the site up in a timely manner. But when its my personal site it seems like I can never decide on a design. No matter how many times I design my site and rebuilt it I always ended up looking at it and thinking I don't like this look.
Any ways I have finally settled on this design, well at least for now. This is Phase One with more to come. I hope you enjoy my site and my work!
